I'm a llama!

« on: November 26, 2009, 11:30:27 PM »

The feature I'm requesting may exist but doesn't work on my Vista machine:

I usually look at the messages sorted by the message number.  When I see an interesting message that's part of a larger thread, I'd like to select one of the messages and then click on the subject header and get the messages sorted by the thread name.  However, after I select a message and then click on the subject header, the message thread I'm trying to read has lost focus.  I have to scroll all the messages trying to locate the thread I want to read.

Hope this makes sense (it's late and I'm tired.)  Cheesy

Thanks,

Brad

Hi Brad,

Yes, I agree. I've been annoyed by that myself.

I'll ask the developer whats involved in fixing that.

Cheers,

 Wilson.

Hey Wilson!

Did you fix this in a new release?  I'm running 3.0.82 on Windows 7 and this requested feature now works.

Update.  I think I've figured out what's happening here.  For this feature to work, you have to have the view set to "show all messages", not "show new messages".

If you have it set for new messages only, when you click on a message and it looses it's "new" status, when you click on the subject header, that message disappears so the program looses the reference.

Think that's right anyway.  Makes sense to me.
