Have a look in:

 http://www.pgoffline.com/groupmanager/Wince-PGO.zip

You should read the readme.txt first.

No ones been bothered about this since we wrote it a year ago. You'll be the first "user" to try it.

Please report any problems direct to me at

 Thanks,

 Wilson.

Hi,

Is this software still valid after so many changes to Yahoo system?
Can this software read the data downloaded by the PGO PC version (ie. copy the downloaded data file to the ppc)?
Does this version support Windows Mobile 5.0?

If so, I won't mind testing it out for you.

Cheers,
Jim

Hi Jim,

Its a read only version of PGO. It can load archive files but not connect to the internet & download. The idea was to be able to load archives to your mobile device to read in the plane/train, etc.

Its written to be compatible with WinCE. I don't know if its compatible with  Windows Mobile.

One way to find out though...

Cheers,

 Wilson.

Hi,

I tried it out.

Can install the software to my PPC phone but cannot transfer the mdb file to PPC.  Got an error message "Cannot convert to Pocket Access - Access denied".  Probably not compatible with Windows Mobile 5.0 & Activesyn.

Any advice on how to convert the files first in PC then just copy to PPC?

Sounds like a problem with versions of Access. Is Access 2000 incompatible with Pocket Access ?

I'll ask the developer.

HI Wilson,

I have just bought a Imate Jamin, and would love to have my PGO files on the PDA to be read whilst on the move. Any news on getting this resolved?

Cheers

I've recently got myself a Imate Jasjar so I will be looking into this.

Cool!

Awesome piece of kit!

Let me know when you have a PGO version for it.
Thanx

No, it says it requires the eMbedded Visual Basic Runtime. eMbedded Visual Basic Runtime was phased out by Microsoft and the Mobile Windows 2003 and 2003SE (i.e. 4.2) was the last to support eMbedded Visual Basic.
